Counter
It is recommended you use the lost counter for optimal information.
Out Counter
It is recommended you use a group (g=) for every link to be able
to change many pages at the click of a button in the admin.
Adding Trades
It is very recommended that you use the Power Trader algorithm as
it is the one that will ensure every in/out will be most fruitful
to you. It is also very recommended to stick to 1 kind of trading
manner for all your trades to ensure perfect ranking.
To add a TrafficSelling trade set Trading Manner to "Force
Only" and Force Kind to "Traffic Selling".
Signup Form
We recommend you set the new trades to inactive so you have time
to review them before sending traffic. There are so many cheaters
out there today that it is just unsafe to start them out without
review. It is also recommended to have the Trade Inspector spider
your trades and send you the results via email so you know what
to look for.
Search Engines
We recommend you check your "Extra" referrers in the admin
to catch any search engine domains you might not have in your search
engines list yet.
Blacklist, IP Blacklist
We recommend you blacklist any webmaster's IP that had malevolent
intentions. Blacklisting the domains is also a very good idea as
the IP cannot always be trusted (easily tampered with and changed
as it is part of the environment).
Blocked List
We recommend you use terms as detailed as possible except for banned
keywords.
Example:
super-cheater .com
farm
animal
child
super-duper-cheater.com
This will ensure no domains contain "farm, animal, or child"
while also making sure you never count traffic from anything containing
"super-cheater.com" or "super-duper-cheater.com".
IP Scanner
This tool is for information purposes. It is NOT recommended to
backlist trades solely on this scan. We do recommend you investigate
the trades that come up. It is a good tool to use along with the
Link Spy to be certain of the trade's intentions.
Link Spy
We definitely recommend you intergrade this. Hitbotters are traffic
leeches that cost you money day after day after day. Finding these
hitbotters and cutting the connection with them is awesome for your
wallet. Note that trades that send very few hits might just be victims
of hitbotting. Therefore, trades should not be deleted/blacklisted
unless they send a lot of hitbots.
Recommended Limit is 25.
Groups
We recommend using the clicks to galleries or the rotator. Surfers
who click twice and get sent to galleries each time as their first
2 clicks will have a much bigger tendancy to actually go through
the rest of your site and surfers that don't get sent to a trade
twice in a row also have a bigger tendancy to click around more.
IP Locater
Use this as a tool if you need to know the origin of a potential
hacker. It can never hurt to have extra information.
Access Log
It is recommended you check these periodically to see if someone
else is trying to access your copy of SwiftClicks.
Settings
Recommended Settings:
- Choose a well detailed and perhaps weirdly capitalized answer
to your secret question.
- Activate the bouncer and set an appropriate limit for your site's
size to prevent losing traffic on trades that just don't return.
- Set Return System to Exit URL and sell this already used up traffic.
- Set NoCookies to skim if you care about this traffic.
- Set NoReferrers skim to be slightly higher than normal to ensure
they stay loyal.
- Set SearchEngine skim high to keep the best quality on your site.
Note that this can make your site's traffic lower since they click
a lot.
- Activate and test the emails to make sure it will be able to notify
you when needed. |
